Home and Community Care Programs (HACC)

Amicus currently delivers a range of Home and Community Care Services (HACC) including:

  • Access and Support – (referrals are now being taken for the Access and Support program)
  • Planned Activity Groups
  • Respite and Personal Care
  • Transport to the Poppethead Club

Access and Support Program

Amicus Group Inc is a community based not for profit organisation that currently supports over 180 people from Bendigo and surrounding areas. Amicus has been supporting people with a disability and people who are aged and frail for 24 years. The organisation is committed to providing services to people from a diverse range of backgrounds and recognises that there are some people who need added support to remain living in their home.

The Access and Support Program with Amicus is designed to assist people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds providing information and support related to aged and disability services. Our Access & Support Worker, Di Parker, offers direct support to people, providing:

The Access and Support Program- is now taking referrals.

  • Information about HACC and related services
  • Support to people to enable them to make informed choices
  • Support for people to link and engage with services
